WARRANTY INFORMATION (UK + EU)

EFFECTIVE AS OF 28 AUGUST 2020

We only ever intend to make a great product. Something you'll love from the day you receive it. We offer a 2 year warranty which ensures your chair is built correctly and a lifetime warranty on the internal foam for longevity of use. 

 

LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty does not override your statutory rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract. Consumers are free to make a warranty claim under this Limited Warranty. They may also exercise their statutory consumer rights.

 

Note: This Limited Warranty is valid only for chairs that you bought through authorised channels (Products). Our authorised channels are the websites that are registered by the Karnox group of companies; and any store registered in the name of a Karnox entity on online marketplaces (together, the Stores). Regretfully, we can't determine the authenticity or original condition of products sold through other channels. Hence, we can't provide warranty service for those products.

Karnox provides a non-transferable warranty to the purchaser of Karnox products. Karnox warrants that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a 2 YEAR period commencing on the date of purchase. The warranty period will be 2 years for gaming chairs, and a lifetime warranty is granted for the inner foam. Except where prohibited by applicable local law, this warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary under local laws.

Any replacement product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is greater, or for the period of time required by local statute.

OBSOLETE OR DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS

An obsolete or discontinued product will be replaced with the same product if available. If we unable to replace your obsolete or discontinued product with the same product, we will replace the obsolete or discontinued product, in its sole discretion, with a product having similar function and capacity.

WHAT OUR LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS

We warrant the following:

  • The Product bought from us matches the description we presented.

  • The workmanship and build of the chair, shall be free from defects.

  • The quality of the product including materials used will be reasonably satisfactory to meet normal intended use

  • Lifetime warranty to cover the inner foam construction. 

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from, but not limited to, any of the following:

  • Wear and tear, or aging of materials associated with normal use

  • Any modification, abuse, accident, disassembly, misapplication, or unauthorized repair

  • Any improper operation, including any use not in accordance with any supplied product instructions

  • Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect in materials or workmanship

  • Contact with animals

  • Use in anything other than domestic or private setting; or environmental conditions that are irregular to indoor conditions (high heat / high humidity / moisture / pollutant gases / high salinity)

  • Failure to follow correct aftercare instructions.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

KARNOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA (WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT) OR COMMERCIAL LOSS FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON YOUR PRODUCT EVEN IF KARNOX HAS BEEN ADVISED PREVIOUSLY OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some local laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply in your jurisdiction.

MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM

To make a warranty claim please contact us by email via info@karnox.co.uk with the following considered information:

  • Please submit your claim within 14 days of noticing the defect.

  • Please provide the purchaser's name and order number to validate your warranty claim.

  • Provide a clear picture of the defect with a brief description where necessary.

PUTTING IT RIGHT

We aim to help and to please. Any qualifying warranty claim will usually result in replacement items being sent to you free of charge. The warranty service enables you to service your own product. We will provide you with the necessary instructions and informed support to make the installation. We are not responsible for any additional labour costs due to installing replacement parts. We may request defective components to be sent back for future analysis, if so Karnox will arrange collection of the these parts at our cost, however under regular circumstances we ask that the customer disposes of the faulty components in a correct and appropriate manner and to do so once both the customer and Karnox are agreed the issue is resolved. 

IMPORTANT TERMS FOR (UK) CONSUMERS

For purchases made by consumers in the United Kingdom: If a product is defective, consumers may, in addition to any other rights which they may have under consumer law in the UK, avail themselves of the rights contained in the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (in particular Section 12), the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (in particular Section 2) and the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002.
